The demand for home appliance repair and maintenance in Vietnam is increasingly massive, yet the market remains fragmented with hundreds of independent units and freelance technicians, lacking a service model standardized in quality, price, and warranty. According to Vietnam News, the home appliance repair and maintenance service market reached approximately USD 7.07 million in 2025 and is projected to rise to USD 12.27 million by 2028. This is the gap DMX is targeting with the goal of building a professional and synchronized repair and warranty system.
The advantage of DMX Technician lies in its scale and existing ecosystem. As a subsidiary 99.99% owned by DMX, DMX Technician possesses over 4,000 technicians, about 300 warehouses, 700 vehicles, and more than 3,000 store touchpoints, serving a platform of nearly 18 million identified customers. Compared to listed enterprises, its workforce scale alone is sufficient to place DMX Technician among the 40 largest companies. This team is therefore no longer just an after-sales department, but has become the infrastructure of a home service platform on a national scale.
Instead of expanding from scratch, DMX starts right from the products it sells. Data on equipment, customers, and usage history enables DMX to take the initiative from installation, warranty, and repair to maintenance and extended warranties. Every time a technician approaches a customer, it also creates an additional touchpoint to identify the demand for replacement, upgrading, or using extra services. Thanks to this, DMX Technician not only generates service revenue but also contributes to increasing customer lifetime value (LTV).

DMX Technician has not only grown in revenue but has also proven its profit-generating capability. In 2025, this segment recorded VND 2,576 billion in revenue and VND 201 billion in net profit. Entering 2026, revenue continues to maintain a high growth momentum: VND 701 billion after Q1 (+45% YoY), VND 1,892 billion after Q2 (+47% YoY), and VND 2,177 billion after 7 months (+43% YoY). Maintaining a growth rate of over 40% across multiple consecutive milestones indicates that growth is stable rather than stemming merely from a transient surge.
In the first half of 2026, DMX Technician continued to affirm its role as a service pillar with total revenue of VND 1,892 billion, up 47% over the same period. The driving force comes from two touchpoints bringing DMX Technician into customer homes: air conditioner installation output reached 670,000 turns (+60% YoY) with installation productivity improving by 1.2 times, and maintenance order output hit 1.2 million orders (+60% YoY). Each installation or maintenance turn both generates immediate revenue and expands the touchpoint network to exploit demands for upgrades, extended warranties, and cross-selling later.
Particularly noteworthy is the capability to expand beyond the DMX ecosystem. In the first 6 months, revenue from external customers reached VND 195 billion (+30% YoY), equivalent to 10.3% of total revenue; by the end of 7 months, this figure continued to rise to VND 234 billion, elevating the external share to 11%. Continuous growth period over period shows that DMX Technician is gradually building an independent revenue source, stepping up the transition from an internal after-sales team to an open service platform capable of self-selling to the market, reflecting the exact new customer segment expansion roadmap set forth in the DMX IPO plan.
DMX aims to bring DMX Technician to reach VND 8,287 billion in revenue and VND 675 billion in net profit by 2030, corresponding to a CAGR of approximately 26% and 27% respectively during the 2025–2030 period.
Thus, the largest growth driver is expected to come from customers outside the system. Revenue for this group is targeted to reach VND 3,837 billion by 2030, equivalent to a CAGR of about 65%/year, significantly higher than the general growth rate. This demonstrates that DMX's strategy relies not only on after-sales demand from the Dien May Xanh system, but aims to expand into an independent service platform, serving additional electronics brands needing outsourced warranties and real-estate developers requiring large-scale equipment installation.
