From early morning on September 18, thousands of people flocked to the TopZone Hàm Nghi branch (HCMC) to pick up their pre-ordered devices. As it approached 8:00 AM-the opening hour-the atmosphere became increasingly vibrant. The system arranged personnel and separated the delivery area from the product experience zone to avoid congestion and service disruptions.
On the first day of delivery, the TopZone – The Gioi Di Dong chain nationwide successfully delivered nearly 20,000 iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max units for early orders. On September 12, TopZone recorded 160,000 pre-orders in the first 20 minutes of opening. By the end of the pre-order period, there were a total of over 180,000 orders, nearly double last year.
"This achievement not only surpasses the milestones of previous seasons but also demonstrates the ability to meet massive demand from the market, as well as the operational capacity of the retail chain," said Mr. Doan Van Hieu Em, CEO of TopZone.
In previous seasons, this dealer was recognized as the Apple device retail system with the largest pre-order volume in Vietnam. Specifically in 2024, the unit received 25,000 pre-orders for the iPhone 16. A year later, the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air reached a record of nearly 100,000 pre-orders after 24 hours.
This is the second year that Vietnam has been among the first tier of markets where Apple launches new iPhones. Domestic retail systems announced that they would start delivering devices from 8:00 AM. TopZone is Apple's authorized premium reseller in Vietnam, with more than 80 stores nationwide, including the newly inaugurated Hàm Nghi branch (HCMC) and Hồ Gươm branch (Hanoi). Prior to this, the unit made thorough preparations regarding logistics infrastructure, order management systems, and a team of in-depth advisory staff to ensure that devices were delivered to customers on schedule.
According to Mr. Doan Van Hieu Em, each new iPhone generation receives immense interest from the market, contributing to a series of notable shifts in the tech retail industry. Along with product development, consumer demand is increasingly high, requiring quality experiences and services throughout the usage process.
"With the iPhone 18 Pro, we expect not only to create a vibrant sales season but also to continue raising customer experience standards, contributing to the growth of the high-end technology market in Vietnam," Mr. Hieu Em added.

During the official iPhone 18 Pro launch, TopZone continued to roll out a series of promotions. Users can choose a 0% interest deferred payment policy with zero down payment and flexible terms of up to 18 months.
Additionally, the system combined other benefits such as an extra discount of up to 5 million VND when paying via bank cards or e-wallets (applied according to the program's promotional quota); receiving a 500,000 VND voucher to own a 500GB/month data SIM; and up to 50% off on bundled accessories.
The system also continued to implement the "Trade-in, Upgrade" program with a direct subsidy of up to 3 million VND. The unit used a valuation tool closely coordinated with Apple to ensure the inspection process is fast and accurate.
One of the driving forces behind this year's shopping wave is the enhancements on the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. Compared to the previous generation, the new products focus on cameras, performance, and battery life. The devices use the A20 Pro chip, a next-generation vapor chamber cooling system, and a 48-megapixel Fusion main camera with a variable aperture.
The main camera on the Pro duo adds a variable aperture mechanism, allowing users to control the amount of light entering the sensor. The company also added professional customizations to the camera app, targeting those who frequently take photos and shoot videos.

The iPhone 18 Pro Max has a listed price in Vietnam starting from 41.99 million VND, while the 18 Pro starts at 38.99 million VND for the 256 GB version. The devices come in four colors: black, silver, ice blue, and burgundy red, along with storage options of 256 GB, 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB.
